About Ali
With nearly seven years of experience, I’ve tutored a wide range of high school math and physics courses including AP, IB, and Ontario curriculum. I have also prepared students for academic contests. I’ve taught at several high schools and have been tutoring since the age of 18. My background includes being a finalist in Iran’s national Physics Olympiad, giving me firsthand insight into competitive academic environments. This experience allows me to guide students with both deep subject knowledge and strategic expertise. I was also a student athlete (basketball) so I can relate to the extremely busy schedule that student athletes have.

My teaching style is lighthearted and engaging—I believe students learn best when they’re laughing and relaxed, especially with subjects as intimidating as math and physics. I teach high school courses like Advanced Functions, Calculus, Data Management, Physics, and also AP (Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, Physics) and IB curricula. I keep homework minimal by ensuring students complete most work in class. With focused practice problems and a welcoming space to ask questions, students build confidence while actually enjoying the learning process.
