About Albie
I am a music student at the Victorian College of the Arts in my second year. I achieved a perfect score of 50 in VCE music performance in 2015. I have experience teaching large groups of students music, and would love to begin teaching music theory privately. I am a calm and friendly person with a wealth of music theory knowledge based in jazz and classical, on a variety of instruments, that I enjoy passing on to others.

I am a teacher who approaches each student differently depending on their goals and requirements. I prefer an environment where the student has a clear idea of what they want to gain out of the lessons so that I can directly address the areas of music theory that they may struggle with. I am always cautious to avoid skipping over any details, going in depth into different areas of the subject to ensure a solid understanding. I like to teach in a similar manner to how I have been taught and use the same specific teaching methods which helped me to succeed in my high school and university music subjects.
