About Sharanya

I have just graduated from The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School with an atar of 97.5. I never really enjoyed studying, but through the right guidance and study habits/ techniques, I found that I started enjoying it more as well as my scores improving. Initially, I was more of a practical person and loved having experience in the workforce. I am really passionate about basketball, so I coached 4 seasons all with different teams including various genders and age groups. I also realised I loved working in fast- paced environments, so I decided to work at the classic Mc.Donald's, and waitress at a cafe called Jolly Miller for 2 years so I could acquire hospitality experience on my resume. When I studied bio 3/4 in year 11, I realised my passion for the subject and how much I enjoyed science (basically 4 vce subjects out of my 6 are sciences). That is why I decided to tutor bio students under a private tutoring company, as well as selective school entry prep. Having both of my students get accepted into the best selective female school in Victoria, MacRob, made me extremely happy and proud, which made me realise how much I enjoy tutoring :)

About the lesson

- assisting students who are completing 3/4 vce subjects
- obtained raw study scores of 44 in biology (completed in year 11 scaled 45), 45 in physical education (scaled 44) and 45 in english language (scaled 47)
- helping students achieve their dream study score
- tutoring also provides students with access to the best selective school resources, including powerpoints for the whole year for each different subject to learn content, 1000+ practice questions,
Macrob & Melbourne High sacs, 50+ practice exams including commercial as well as VCAA, catered to the study design changes, providing students with a strong competitive advantage
- have had tutoring experience already (been tutoring bio 3/4 for a year now, throughout my own year 12 studies, as I completed it in year 11 and just graduated from high school)
- one free trial lesson
- face to face lessons ($50/ hr) or online lessons via zoom ($40/ hr)
- can also complete group lessons for a cheaper price/ hr if the student prefers
