By way of background, I am a practising solicitor with a tertiary background in law and psychology.

Bringing a decade of tutoring experience to my tuition lessons, I offer a comprehensive program to my students who seek to reinforce their understanding of complex literary texts and essay writing strategies.

With proven teaching techniques driving my tuition lessons, I ensure that my students are given the tools they need to excel in VCE English and Legal Studies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Lawyer - admitted into practice in 2018;
Successfully completed VCE at Methodist Ladies College;
Successfully completed Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Psychological Science;
Successfully completed Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

About the lesson

My finely-honed and flexible approach includes substantial resources to aid each individual student, whether newly tackling a task or looking for extra engagement, to build their skills beyond their current level. During my sessions, I provide worksheets, notes and assist the student with any homework or assessments that they may have.

I firmly believe that results come from practice and guidance, as well as motivation. Together, we're not only going to improve our understanding of the subjects covered, but will expand my student's interest in the material as well. I'm also happy to tackle any anxiety students may feel about public speaking/presentations and my own personal tips for overcoming fear for these types of assessments.

With my support, I encourage my students to not only develop a full understanding of the concepts in the VCAA study design, but also challenge and broaden their knowledge with some relevant information beyond the course. I will reveal my personal tips and strategies for approaching the VCAA exams to ensure that my students feel confident not only with the content but with the idea of ‘exam’ conditions and stress.

I have ensured that all my students have achieved an 80+ ATAR, with 90% of my students receiving a 94 ATAR or above. Many of my students have gone on to achieve merits, and dux of their school, with approximately 10% each year receiving 99+ unscaled.

On average I have improved test scores by 60% and have helped students move from a failing to passing grade.
