About Avi
Hi, I’m Avi! I’m a recent VCE graduate with a 97.55 ATAR, having completed Maths Methods, and I’m passionate about helping students excel in math. I understand the challenges students face and know how to break down difficult concepts in a clear and approachable way. I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and productive, so students feel confident tackling problems on their own. I tailor my teaching to each student’s needs, whether it’s strengthening understanding, improving exam technique, or achieving top results. With me, you’ll get a tutor who is knowledgeable, reliable, and focused on your success — someone who genuinely wants to see you grow and achieve your goals in VCE Maths Methods.

My VCE Maths Methods lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly, build confidence, and improve exam performance.
How I teach: I use a step-by-step approach, breaking down complex topics into manageable parts, with plenty of worked examples and practice problems. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate, so they gain both understanding and problem-solving skills.
Lesson structure: Each session is typically 60 minutes, starting with a recap of previous work, moving to new material, and finishing with practice questions to reinforce learning. I can tailor lessons to focus on exam preparation, homework help, or strengthening areas of difficulty.
Who lessons are for: My lessons are for VCE Maths Methods students of all abilities — from those consolidating their understanding to students aiming for high ATAR results.
I aim to make each lesson engaging, clear, and productive, so students leave feeling confident and ready to tackle any maths problem.
