About Lawrence
For the past 15+ years, teaching has been a meaningful part of my professional journey. I teach Singing to School and College students and feel proud to help learners grow both musically and personally. I believe every student has unique potential, and my role is to provide the guidance and encouragement needed to bring that potential forward.
I focus on building strong foundations in breathing, pitch, rhythm, vocal control, pronunciation, tone, expression, and performance. My lessons are easy to understand and include practical exercises that students can use during regular practice.
I believe students learn best when they feel respected and supported. I take time to understand their strengths, challenges, interests, and goals. I then adjust my teaching style so that learners can progress comfortably while still being challenged to improve.
A major highlight of my career has been helping students prepare for school and college performances. Seeing a student who was once nervous become confident on stage is one of the most satisfying experiences I have had as a tutor. These moments have strengthened my passion for education.
I encourage students to develop their own musical identity. Singing is not only about producing the correct notes. It is also about expressing emotions, communicating with listeners, and developing confidence.
I teach students that mistakes are a natural part of learning. With regular practice, patience, and positive feedback, challenges can become opportunities for improvement.
I believe Singing can also support students' overall development by improving confidence, concentration, creativity, discipline, communication, and emotional expression.
After 15+ years of teaching and professional experience, I remain committed to inspiring School and College students and helping them enjoy a rewarding journey through music.

My teaching methodology for Singing focuses on helping students improve their voice while developing confidence, creativity, and good practice habits. I use Motivation, Communication, Creativity, and Time Management as the main parts of my approach. I begin by understanding the student's current level, musical interests, strengths, challenges, and personal goals.
Motivation helps students stay focused and enthusiastic. I encourage them to set small goals and recognize their achievements. I provide positive feedback while clearly explaining what they can improve. This helps students remain confident and patient when learning new vocal techniques.
Communication helps me understand each student's learning needs. I create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and discussing difficulties. I explain breathing, vocal warm-ups, pitch, rhythm, tone, pronunciation, articulation, dynamics, and expression in simple language. I also adjust my explanations when students need additional support.
Creativity keeps lessons active and enjoyable. I use different songs, vocal exercises, improvisation, listening activities, rhythm practice, and performance tasks. I encourage students to explore different styles and develop their own musical expression. I can also teach related areas such as music theory, ear training, rhythm, basic musicianship, and performance preparation.
Time Management helps students become consistent with practice. I guide them in creating realistic schedules and dividing practice into focused activities. Students learn how to balance technical work, songs, revision, and personal goals. Regular progress reviews help them stay organized and motivated. My goal is to develop confident, expressive, creative, disciplined, and independent singers.
