About Dean

I hold a B.Sc. (Computer Science) from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia, course average 72%. I am very experienced having worked as a tutor of Computer Science and Math part-time for 20 years. I have also worked as a software developer and software tester full time for 10 years since obtaining my undergraduate degree, mainly working with MS C#, MS Visual Basic, MS SQL Sever, MS embedded VB, MS Access & VBA.

About the lesson

I specialize in Python and Java tutoring- Introductory Programming; and Data Structures & Algorithms. I have a well equipped home office with 3 laptops (Intel i3 and i7 Core, AMD Ryzen 5) and 2 tablets. Students normally travel to my home office for tutoring and programming tutoring sessions are normally 1 1/2 hours long. I also offer tutoring in Introductory Database Design and Development with MS Access and/or mySQL; as well as Systems Analysis (DFD's, Normalization, E-R Diagrams).
I offer both face-to-face Tutoring at my Home Office and Online Tutoring through Zoom (free download). You just need a Desktop/Laptop Computer with working microphone, speakers, camera and good internet connection to be able to be tutored online by myself.

At the moment I have restricted my tutoring to Online mode only because of the situation with Corona Virus.
