About Linda
I am an older mum, young Grandma who who has a MEd, BEd, Grad Dipl of ESL as well as Welfare, Library & Training degrees. Over the last few decades I have worked in Government & Private settings, Adult Migrant and Aboriginal community Schools...etc and often tutored specific students . I want to continue to use some of my time, knowledge & experience to teach and encourage others...in a setting where students are keen to learn and feel valued. I think it can be very hard for students to get the help they need if they are in a room with many other distractions and students. I am available to tutor most days or evenings...and love learning!

Most students are aware of what they hope to learn or improve. My aim is to help students of any age gain confidence & skills. This means that lessons can be pre planned based on what you want or need . But if you prefer they can also include something new that is more urgent . I can set homework or tasks for practise , but also realise that you may have other work to do instead. We can go at your pace, but expect to be gently challenged, too .... By the end of every lesson, I hope you will feel satisfied and proud with your progress.
