About Jennifer
This is my 11th year in education. I am a certified music educator (music k-12 and gifted).
I have also taught private lessons for over 20 years. My primary instrument is double bass. I also teach lessons in cello and guitar. As well as tutoring music theory and composition. I have had multiple students make it to final round of all state orchestra with three making all state.
For the last 10 years I have served as a judge for All State Orchestra, the last four as a final round state judge for All State Orchestra.

I am a veteran music teach in the metro Atlanta area. My guitar and orchestra ensembles earn straight superiors at adjudication for the last six plus years.
My primary instruments are double bass, cello, and guitar. I can also teach violin and viola.
I have taught Advanced Placement Music Theory for 6 years. The 2022 class had a 100% pass rate with 4’s and 5’s on the exam.
In my lessons we will set an over arching goal and then make plans on how to reach them. Lessons typically start with scales, reviewing last week’s practice, and introducing new material.
