About Andrea
I have been a public education teacher for over twenty years. I have my Masters in Education with a focus on Reading. I truly believe that every student has the ability to learn. I love to teach reading because it allows students to build their confidence and enjoyment for reading. It is important to incorporate the students interests when teaching reading because their interests will motivate them.

My lessons are engaging by using technology and a complete lesson cycle to monitor growth. I believe in building rapport with my students to help motivate them to learn reading. In my lessons, I provided a guided activity, independent activity, and an exit ticket to informally assess at the end of each session.
