About Lisa
I am currently a 4th year Veterinary Medicine and Science undergraduate at the University of Surrey. I have always had a passion for animals and have been lucky in knowing this is what I have always wanted to do, which i believe helps me excel in my studies. I want to help other students thrive in this degree and feel confident in their knowledge and get the most out of their education in this sector before a challenging but rewarding future career.
I achieved A*AB at A-level in Chemistry, Biology and Maths respectively. I resat both Chemistry and Biology after initially achieving a grade B in both, and I feel this reinforced my motivation to succeed at university, and allowed me to improve my revision and learning techniques.

I am offering 1 hour study sessions with students to go over any course material they need extra help with. As this degree has such a huge volume of content, I believe a key part of learning it is be able to go through it with someone else to help things fall into place. This is how me and my housemates often revise together and I find it very beneficial. Prior to university, whilst in sixth form I tutored GCSE science students alongside my A- levels, and before COVID I spent 3 weeks in Ukraine teaching high school students English.
