About Marley
I am a freelance trumpet player and have been giving lessons for 4 years. I've toured around Australia and am currently undertaking a Bachelor in Jazz and Improv at the Victorian College of the Arts. I've been receiving individual lessons from some of Australia's greatest improvisers and have acquired enough knowledge to pass on to anyone whose picked up the horn.

My teaching methodology is based around the student, I will help them achieve their own musical goals. I start with a firm foundation in music theory and technique, these are very important for efficient and beautiful sounding trumpet playing. I then progress into jazz and improvisation, this includes listening lists, solo's to check out and a deeper understanding of harmony through aural training.
