About Greta
Beginners often hear only a screeching string, but I hear the potential for a resonant tone. My 13 years of experience as a BMus graduate from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music have allowed me to guide 367 students through the complexities of violin technique. I focus on shifting positions and spiccato bowing to ensure your hands understand the instrument before you attempt advanced repertoire. Refining your tone production and tuning by ear creates a foundation that will carry you toward your performance goals.

"Harsh, scratchy sounds often come from poor bow pressure, which we resolve by checking your posture early on. With 13 years of experience behind me, I use my BMus background to simplify concepts like staccato bowing and rhythm for every student. Weekly practice modules are assigned with every class to ensure your hands remember what we discussed.
