About Mia
I am a university student with 6 years of violin teaching experience, and I have played the violin for 13 years. I have achieved my AMusA and am currently working towards my LMusA. I have been playing the viola for 4 years, and I can play at a similar standard. I have played violin with the Australian Youth Orchestra programs since 2016, and was a member of the Queensland Youth Symphony from 2017-2018.
I teach online, or from my home in Dickson, ACT.

I will set individual goals with all of my students, whether that be taking AMEB (or other) exams, preparing for auditions, or even just trying to learn a specific piece for fun. My teaching method is flexible; I can adapt to my students wants and needs. I am able to teach music theory, either incorporated into the lesson or as a seperate lesson. Lesson length is up to the discretion of the student.
