About Charlie
Do you find yourself wondering how to bridge the gap between basic playing and effortless performance? My 13 years of experience have centered on building technique without losing the joy of music. I focus heavily on left hand agility, spiccato and staccato bowing, shifting positions, vibrato, and scales and arpeggios.
Having worked with 281 students, I hold a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. It is a long road to stage readiness.

You will find that the atmosphere during our time together remains calm and focused. 7.0 is the foundational standard for our technical drills as we refine your posture and bowing precision.
Since graduating with my Master of Music in Violin Performance from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, I have developed a structured way to track your advancement. I provide free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to keep you on track. My goal is to ensure you feel prepared for the stage, which is why I often reflect on the small details that make a massive difference in your sound.
