About Tamila
"Performing on stage for many years taught me that teaching requires constant clarity. I earned my MMus Music Performance from the Melbourne Conservatory of Music to sharpen my own technical skills.
Currently, I work with busy working professionals and ambitious players who want real structure. Managing a full teaching schedule is how I spend my days now. I keep the focus on physical technique and musical progress.
Many self-taught musicians come to me to fix bad habits. I have helped 422 students refine their sound and posture over 6 years. It is helpful to track this growth through a monthly progress report shared with parents. Please reach out if you want to chat about your goals."

"Good technique is rarely what you expect it to be at the start. I focus on rhythm and timing alongside precise intonation and shifting positions.
My approach draws on my conservatory training to make sight reading and ear training feel manageable. Orchestral playing and vibrato are addressed during our 60 minute time slots. We prioritize tuning by ear to ensure your instrument sounds perfect.
I find it satisfying to hear how your posture and hold improves within a few weeks. My sessions are designed to be practical so you can hear the change immediately."
