About Paola
Hello, I am a Mexican visual Artist and art teacher. I have an educational background in visual arts, art therapy, and education.
I have been teaching art for eight years in different countries where I had such as Mexico, USA, China and now in Australia. I can teach different art techniques, mediums, art history, and handicrafts from different cultures. Also, I can assist in creating an art portfolio.

I always try to personalize my classes according to the student needs and interests. I usually start the class by analyzing some artworks or artist related to the subjects. Then I encourage and guide the student to create its own art. Students can choose the art technique and art style they want to learn or practice.
I am passionate about contemporary art, mix technique mediums, and collaborative artwork practice. I like to create art projects where the students can work on a big scale, outside of a canvas format.
I believe learning art technique it's important, but it is more important to develop the creative thinking and to be able to explain the ideas behind your artwork.
