About Janneke

I am a tertiary trained singer who loves sharing my passion and knowledge of the voice. Bachelor of Music (Hons) - Graduated from The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music/VCA 2014 with First Class Honours. I am also an experienced performer in Australia and The Middle East and currently a chorus member of Victorian Opera. I teach in my home studio and have also worked as a singing teacher at Burwood Heights Primary School, Belgrave Heights Christian School and for private vocal studios in Melbourne.

About the lesson

I believe everyone can improve their singing!

My work as a vocal coach is to share the tools and knowledge in order to be able to do so.

I want to empower and further you on that singing journey while developing your love for singing (and performing- if that's your aim).

We work hard but always keep in mind that music, and the process of making it, is to be enjoyed and fulfilling!

I have been singing since age 5 and have learned from numerous well known and highly skilled singing teachers.

I enjoy teaching all ages and styles. I prioritize musicality and healthy vocal technique as it is universal to all genres. I am specialised in classical, opera and legit musical theatre.

Savannah had a wonderful first lesson! She has a lovely, pure tone and hit some amazing high notes on her first go with very little effort! She is already on way to getting some classical songs in her repertoire. I commend her for her focus and bravely accessing that awesome high range she didn’t know she had. Bravo Savannah!
