About Emi

Vocal coach, singer and musical theater actor with more than 20 years of experience on stage. Holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Therapy. Two-time Hugo Award winner for best male performer in Argentina (the most important musical theater award in the country) Co-founder of the Full Vocal Range (FVR) method based on the Old Italian Singing Technique from the late 18th century. Gives online voice lessons to students around the world by offering a different approach to singing.

About the lesson

Enjoy the art of singing while you learn how to sing in a healthy way. In 30-minute lessons acquire the key tools to improve your singing skills and get to the next level. The method, Full Vocal Range (FVR), is based on the Old Italian Singing Technique from the late 18th century: the Belcanto era. Belcanto has guarded the technical secrets which allow for a way to emit that is free from ties. From this tradition we have laid the foundations of this method. The technique's features are: - Height: a specific emission position is trained in order to make full use of cranial voice resonance. - Clarity: a natural and authentic voice production is sought after, through a controlled and clear emission. - Lightness: effortless emission, no body attachments, smooth and high-positioned attack. Furthermore, these fundamentals are accompanied with learning how to employ stylistic resources such as ornaments, messa di voce, staccato, legatos and a variety of different dynamics.

I’ve been taking classes with Emi for about 3 years and I can’t recommend him enough. His pedagogy and knowledge helped my technique to grow immensely in a really short period of time. I’ve never encountered someone so devoted to their craft and their students as he is, he will genuinely go out of his way to make his students into the best singers they can be because he’s just so passionate about the voice. Not only he’s a teacher but also he’s an amazing person who can be 100% trusted, he has made a crazy impact in my life and if you let him, he will change yours.

I’ve started taking online classes with Emi 2 years ago, in different countries and time zones and I must say that the results have been just great. I feel like I finally have a healthy voice that feels GOOD when I sing. I’ve developed a wider vocal range and I am starting to sing songs that I have always wanted to. Emi is loving, patient and also pushes me to work harder. From my heart, I recommend him!

Emi is an amazing teacher. Before I became his student, I found it hard to sing without feeling tired after a while. I also struggled with very high or low notes. His lessons have helped me reach my full potential. Now I feel confident when singing. I love his lessons and I highly recommend them.
