About Iris
Standing on a stage for 20 years teaches you about fear. I remember my first gig in Australia where I was nervous to sing. Since then I have taught 223 students how to find their voice. We work on belting technique and head and chest voice. I share the bolero and flamenco traditions I learned as a child. It is rewarding to watch a student stop worrying about pitch. Sight singing and harmony are great tools to master. My goal is to help you own the stage.

Honestly I always start by listening to you sing alone. We perform a diagnostic vocal assessment immediately. This helps me tailor our warm up exercises for your range. Pacing is slow and steady. You need to feel comfortable before we push your limits. It is a joy to help you sing with power. See you in the studio soon.
