About Lavern
"Spending 13 years performing in small Melbourne venues shaped my teaching style. I hold a degree from USyd which informs my deep understanding of music theory and scales.
Strumming patterns and complex chord transitions are my bread and butter. I have taught 173 students over my 5 years of active tutoring.
Reading tabs and sheet music allows us to explore diverse styles. Fingerpicking remains my favorite way to connect with the instrument. It is truly rewarding to see someone master barre chords."
