About Amelia
How does one truly capture the spirit of a language through mere exercises? I approach this by framing every conversation around your personal goals as a traveller or exam candidate preparing for the DELE.
My 13 years of experience have shown me that students thrive when they see their own progress clearly. Weekly conversation practice recordings are reviewed together to refine your accent and intonation.
This feedback loop is essential. We will focus on role play and dialogue practice to ensure you feel ready for real-world interactions. Expect to see your verb conjugation and conversational fluency grow steadily. I look forward to helping you reach your target fluency.

Completing an MMus Vocal Studies at Trinity Laban while also finishing a BA in Modern Languages gave me a unique perspective on how sound connects to meaning. I have taught 402 students how to navigate the intersection of art and linguistics. Spanish art song is essentially unteachable without a deep grasp of the language, which is why I integrate cultural context so thoroughly.
Vocabulary building and idioms often come up as natural asides during our work on accent and intonation. I find that my background in music makes me particularly attentive to the rhythm of speech. It is a joy to see students bridge the gap between their writing skills and their spoken confidence.
