About Summer
Summer Lu grew up in Jiangsu China, where she attended an IB international High School and held her first art show. In 2020 she graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She majored in oil painting, as well as illustration with watercolour. She grew up under her grandfather’s passion for nature in art. Painting on silk as his profession.
In her class you will learn to sketch and compose images from both reference and real life. Eventually build to paint in oil and watercolour.

The way I teach someone normally starts with a small activity . After I know what level my students are at, I will then come up with my class content. I am a very watercolor based artist, so I would involve techniques and practice on colors as well as forms etc.

Details
Travel cost varies depends on how far away your home is from me. If I’m coming to your place the lesson will be 50 dollars for an hour one on one , if you are coming to mine it is 35 an hour . Thank you
