I highly recommend Pat as a guitar teacher. He is very passionate about what he does; be puts time and effort into helping me learning songs while implementing music theory/technique in a practical manner. He's very supportive and patient (even if I get it wrong!!) and takes a self-directed approach to teaching, letting me choose songs to play and even what styles if he doesn't have something in mind already (which I appreciate, as someone who gets bored of rigid structures easily). He always listens to my feedback and is open to suggestions. Overall, my experience has been nothing but positive and I have learned so much under his direction!
