About Valencia
I’m a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education and 25 academic distinctions, but more importantly, I’m someone who truly understands what it feels like to need the right kind of support to succeed. I’m passionate about teaching because I’ve seen how the right explanation, encouragement, and structure can completely change a learner’s confidence and performance. I don’t believe intelligence is fixed — I believe it’s developed through guidance, practice, and belief. Teaching allows me to help learners move from feeling stuck or discouraged to feeling capable and confident. Watching that shift — when something finally clicks — is exactly why I do what I do. For me, teaching isn’t just about covering content. It’s about helping learners clock their own progress, realize their potential, and believe in their ability to succeed.

My Natural Science lessons are hands-on, interactive, and concept-focused. I aim to make science exciting and understandable, turning complex topics into simple, memorable concepts. Lessons cover Life & Living, Matter & Materials, Energy & Change, and Earth & Beyond. Concepts are explained using real-life examples and experiments where possible. Learners are encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas critically. Step-by-step guidance ensures learners build understanding, not just memorize. Regular practice and quizzes track progress and reinforce learning. I know many learners struggle with Science because it seems abstract or confusing. My approach creates a safe, encouraging environment where mistakes are learning opportunities and curiosity is celebrated. The goal of my Natural Science lessons is simple: understanding, confidence, and progress — so learners stop fearing science and start clocking their own discoveries.
