About Emma
Hi, I'm Emma, a university student at Nottingham. I am currently studying a bachelor's degree in French, Spanish and Business and have a passion for languages and travelling. Although, I received A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Latin and so have a very rounded education. I have had some experience teaching when I spent a term in France at an English school assisting children aged 11 with their extra learning lessons and sport. I am also tutoring my younger sister through her GCSE's and so I am comfortable with the current syllabuses. When tutoring I like to fully engage my students by asking them lots of questions as we go through each topic and find ways that help my students connect with the subject. I believe that you cannot learn by just listening. Instead, you must be fully involved and engaged by understanding how the subject will benefit you. I would love to help you or your child achieve the grades you/they deserve. Emma is a very kind and generous person who will dedicate her time and her resources to making sure you come out with top grades. As long as I have known her she has wanted to help people and I cannot think of a better person to be a tutor. Her Latin skills are excellent and she has a very methodical approach to teaching.
Emma is a hardworking individual who always strives to do her best. Her Spanish has improved considerably whilst working with me. Having just been on a year abroad in Valencia, her confidence for the language has greatly improved.
