About Sujin

Hello! I’m Sujin, a friendly Korean tutor currently living in Brisbane, Australia. I’ve worked at an international graduate school in Korea and now at a college in Brisbane, where I provide student support and enjoy communicating with people from all over the world. These experiences taught me how exciting it is to share languages and cultures! I’m passionate about helping students build their Korean skills gradually and confidently in a comfortable and encouraging environment. With my experience teaching exchange students and international friends in my university days, I understand the challenges of learning a new language — and I’ll support you with patience, clear explanations, and positive energy. Let’s make learning Korean a fun and meaningful journey together!

About the lesson

My lessons are structured with weekly goals to help students learn Korean step by step. I focus on practical conversation and real-life situations so you can start speaking naturally from day one.

Before we begin, I’ll check your level and create a personalized plan that fits your needs — whether you’re learning for travel, daily conversation, or cultural interest.

I use Sejong Korean as the main textbook and share lesson notes after each class for easy review.
My goal is to help learners speak Korean confidently and enjoy the learning process.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Sujin.

Perfect! 수진 쌤,

Thank you so much for these past few months. Even though it has been a short time, I have learned so much from your classes. I have lived the combination of learning important grammar basics through well-structured lessons and the real world application style learning you have created ! By not only learning important language structures, but also how I can speak korean conversationally in day to day life, I have been able to progress steadily and surely through many diverse and interesting topics. Your patient, detail-oriented approach to every class has motivated me so much over these past months and instilled more confidence in my korean speaking abilities ! 수진 쌤, 가르쳐 주셔서 정말 정말 감사합니다! I would highly recommend anyone, at any stage in their korean learning journey, to experience Sujin’s classes !!

Perfect! Had my first session with Sujin today and she's an awesome Korean tutor.

She strikes a great balance between being patient and genuinely pushing you to improve, never making you feel self-conscious about mistakes, while still holding you to a high standard on pronunciation. Her explanations of grammar make sense without getting bogged down in linguistics jargon.

She's punctual, well-prepared, warm, and genuinely invested in her students' progress.

If you're looking for a Korean tutor in Brisbane, start with Sujin.

Sujin has been my korean teacher for the past 6 months ! I really appreciate the way that Sujin has both a set structure to the lessons and also curates it to my circumstances and korean speaking goals. Her enthusiasm and patient approach also motivate me to do better and to ask any and all questions. The neatly organised summary of new korean words, grammar points and homework she sends after every single lesson is extremely helpful as well. I highly recommend Sujin to anyone hoping to improve their korean skills. She can cater it to your current korean level, learning pace and your goals for learning korean. It has been a real pleasure to learn from Sujin !!!
