About Rudra
I believe students learn best when lessons are both engaging and supportive. I aim to build a positive relationship with each student, helping them feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Having completed GCSEs myself and now finishing my A-Levels, I can relate well to students and understand the challenges they face. My goal is to improve both confidence and academic performance while making learning an enjoyable experience.

I offer lessons in 11+ Arithmetic, GCSE Mathematics, GCSE Physics and Key Stage 3 Science.
My teaching style is focused on building confidence and understanding rather than simply memorising answers. I believe students learn best when they understand why a method works, allowing them to tackle unfamiliar questions independently. Lessons typically last one hour and combine explanations, worked examples and worksheet-based practice to reinforce key concepts.
For Mathematics, I focus on developing strong problem-solving skills and exam technique. For Physics and Science, I place particular emphasis on understanding core principles, formulae and how to apply them to exam questions. I also help students improve their confidence with calculations and structured written answers.
I have previous tutoring experience through Step Up Tutors at the London Tamil Centre in Wembley, where I worked with groups of students aged approximately 7 to 15. This experience taught me how to adapt explanations to different learning styles and support students of varying abilities.
Academically, I am predicted AAA at A-Level in Mathematics, Physics and Economics and currently hold an offer from the University of Warwick. At GCSE, I achieved a Grade 9 in Physics and Grades 8 in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and History, and was awarded the GCSE Attainment Award for Physics at my school.
My lessons are suitable for students preparing for the 11+, Key Stage 3 students and GCSE students looking to improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance.
