About Elvie
I love teaching reading to youngsters. Each evident progress in their reading and comprehension skills is always a great success to teachers like me. Each joy a student expresses when a task is completed also brings joy to my heart. I love singing and I love to bring smiles to the faces of my students. My motto is to never dismiss a class without drawing a smile on my students' faces.

My lessons will greatly be patterned on Orton Gillingham's teaching reading strategies. However, an assessment of each student will be conducted before the actual lesson. It is vital to assess each student's level of reading and comprehension. Fun activities will be integrated throughout the curriculum and every lesson because I strongly believe that a fun learning approach to teaching each lesson is the greatest way to inculcate learning to the students.
