About Asif
Asif Shahid is a watercolour and acrylic artist based in Sydney who is originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He spent his childhood in Bangladesh, learning from local artists and competing in local and national art competitions. He has a bachelor's degree in computer engineering and a master's degree in design.
He relocated to Sydney in 2009 to further his career and education. In 2016, he returned to practising and refining his painting skills, focusing primarily on landscapes and street scenes. Artists such as Milind Mulick, Alvaro Castagnet, Sergei Kurbatov, Joseph Zbukvic, and Herman Pekel inspire him.
He is currently employed by Qantas as a User Experience Designer.

Assessment: During the first free session, I'll learn about the student's current situation, look over a few paintings (if any), try to determine the student's area of interest and medium, and give a brief demonstration.
What will be covered: Basic drawing, light and shadow, composition, perspective, colour theory, tools and techniques, guidelines, etc.
Course duration: We can work out the course duration in the first free class after assessing the student's experience and interest.
Class duration: 1 hour face-to-face class, as I believe, face-to-face art classes provide real-time interactions with instructors and fellow artists, allow immediate feedback, as well as the opportunity to cultivate a supportive and inspiring creative individual.
