About Maelie

My journey into web development started with curiosity about how websites come alive through code. That fascination quickly evolved into a career that blends technology, creativity, and continuous learning. Over the years, I've built websites for clients and personal projects, and teaching others how to do the same has become my favorite part of the process. My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, patience, and collaboration. I guide students through hands-on projects, helping them develop independence while offering constant support. I believe the best learning happens when theory meets practice, so my lessons are filled with experimentation, problem-solving, and feedback. Outside of teaching, I'm an active participant in coding communities and design workshops, always exploring new frameworks and creative approaches. For me, teaching web development is about more than skill—it's about inspiring others to use technology as a creative language. Watching students build something real from lines of code is what makes this work deeply rewarding.

About the lesson

Web development combines logic and creativity—it’s about bringing ideas to life through code and design. My lessons are built around the philosophy that anyone can learn to create beautiful, functional digital experiences with the right guidance. I start by helping students understand how the web works, then gradually introduce them to hands-on projects that make each concept tangible and rewarding.

Lessons are divided by skill level for steady growth. Beginners learn HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to build static pages. Intermediate students dive into responsive design, APIs, and content management, while advanced learners explore frameworks like React or Next.js and backend development.

I prioritize interactive, project-based learning—students create, test, and refine their own work, gaining both confidence and technical skill. By the end, students have not only built real websites but also learned to think like developers—creative, analytical, and resourceful. My aim is to help learners feel empowered to create digital experiences that are both functional and meaningful.
