About Ely
I am a lifelong student of music. After I served in the Air Force, I pursued a career in music. I love the blues, country, classical, folk...pretty much all styles of music really.
I have a certificate from the Musicians Institute as an Independent Musician. While at music school I formally studied music theory, songwriting, and keyboard.

Are you looking for an exciting and fun way to learn the piano? Look no further. Music for me has always been about having fun, learning new things, and being able to play for others. Although I do follow the book for the basics, I believe that students only really learn when they are invested in what they are learning and oftentimes the book only gets us so far. That is why in my lessons we will play songs that you like or even write. As long as you have the foundations, your learning will be developed mutually to ensure that you learn the most and have the most fun doing it!
