About Wesley
I believe that each student should be treated uniquely, based on their individual voice, personality, learning methods, cultural background, and musical aesthetics. I strive to create an environment where students feel safe to be vulnerable and experiment, and I conduct each interaction with empathy, kindness and a good sense of humor. Teaching voice from a functional standpoint allows students the opportunity to discover the possibilities of their own voice. Ideally, I become a facilitator and the student is actively engaged in their own vocal progress, able to apply functional skills to whatever genre of music they wish to perform. Hopefully my passion for the subject matter, enthusiastic personality, and persistence engages students in lessons, classroom, and rehearsal settings.

Dr. Morgan is certified in Somatic Voicework – The LoVetri Method, one of the world’s most respected pedagogies for Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM), and is also certified through the CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute. His approach to teaching blends voice science-based functional training and a holistic view of the singer’s body and mind. This allows him to guide students across a wide range of genres, including opera, musical theatre, and commercial styles.
His students have gone on to appear in Broadway national tours, Off-Broadway productions, and professional regional theatre and opera companies, and have been accepted into elite conservatory graduate programs and signed with top NYC talent agencies.
Dr. Morgan’s mission is to help singers unlock their authentic voice through tailored, functional, and genre-appropriate training.
