About Nikita
I am a calm, patient, encouraging, and empathetic art teacher who creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity without fear of judgment. My goal is not only to teach artistic techniques, but also to help students build confidence in their abilities and develop a healthy, enjoyable relationship with the creative process.
I specialize in helping students move beyond perfectionism and embrace authentic self-expression. Through art, I encourage creative freedom, experimentation, and trust in one's own artistic instincts. I believe some of the most meaningful artwork comes from genuine expression rather than rigid rules or the pursuit of perfection.
My teaching style takes a holistic approach, viewing art as both a skill and a form of personal expression. I enjoy helping students develop artistic mindsets that value authenticity, creativity, abstract appreciation, and the ability to communicate emotions and ideas through their work. Whether a student wants to create realistic paintings or explore more expressive and abstract styles, I help them discover and develop their own unique artistic voice.
As Pablo Picasso famously said, "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." I aim to help students reconnect with that childlike creativity, curiosity, and freedom while still developing strong artistic foundations and technical skills.

My teaching approach focuses on developing painting techniques, building creative confidence, and using art as a positive outlet for self-expression. I specialise in acrylic painting, textured art, and coloured pencil work, and all high-quality art materials are provided for each lesson.
I am a calm, patient, and supportive teacher who adapts each session to suit the individual needs, interests, and learning style of every student. With over 10 years of experience as an artist and 1 year of experience teaching private art lessons through an established company, I have helped students of various ages and skill levels develop their artistic abilities while enjoying the creative process.
Lessons typically run for 2–3 hours and are tailored around a project chosen collaboratively between the student and myself. I work primarily with children and teenagers, from toddlers through to high school students, but I also welcome beginner to intermediate adult learners who would like to explore their creativity in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
