About Janice
I originally was a P.E. Teacher then moved into working with disengaged students with a passion for getting to know them and getting engaged in life. I quickly realised learning had to be relevant and fun so my teaching became grounded in using my training in martial arts and dancing to assist in changing the headspace of participants.I have taught for many years in different states but now use an intuitive approach with participants of my KTBM classes that I started two years ago for older residents in Babinda.

My methodology ranges from a set routine of warm ups with music, the theme for the week short talk, chi gong.. five elements/five sounds /five animals exercises followed by some soulful tai chi to music. Yoga stretches on the floor and mindful self healing practices. Dance out the stress of the week with cultural dances/free dances/dances of universal peace.
