I have been giving private lessons for over 3 years. My method consists of starting with exercises, so that the student first understands what is expected of them. Once the method is assimilated, we return to the theory to deepen and justify it. In short, I first explain "how to do it", then move on to "why do it". This approach is the opposite of academic courses, which often prioritize theoretical explanation before practice. In addition, I always offer follow-up outside of class to answer questions and provide comprehensive corrections.
