About Alex
I'm passionate about languages. Since I was young, my father taught me English. Instead of only listening to Spanish music, our home was often filled with music from around the world. It's no wonder that I also enjoy teaching others my mother tongue: Spanish.
I grew up on the northern coast of Colombia, near popular tourist destinations like Cartagena, Santa Marta, and Barranquilla. Now I live near Medellín, surrounded by mountains and enjoying spring-like weather all year round. But, of course, my location doesn't matter: Spanish teaching has almost completely transitioned to online platforms!

I use the communicative approach, focusing on real conversation from the beginning. This is the secret weapon of many successful students: it's about feeling comfortable having real conversations from day one!
This fun and effective method helps you speak Spanish naturally from the get-go!
Additionally, my experience living in Colombia, Spain, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Argentina, and Venezuela adds a rich cultural tapestry to your learning!
I teach intercontinental Spanish, allowing you to understand many accents, vocabulary, expressions, and cultural aspects of the most popular Spanish-speaking countries.
Don't worry about materials; I have an arsenal of recommendations and resources that I'll share with you as your learning progresses.
