About Jenna
Hello, I'm Jenna from Taiwan, and I've spent the last three years as an after-school teacher. Working with children brings me immense joy, especially when I can introduce music and language learning into their lives. I've always had a passion for singing and playing music with students, and teaching ukulele is particularly rewarding because it's an instrument that makes learning music approachable for everyone. My hope is that the joy of playing the ukulele will become a lifelong delight for my students and brighten up many lives along the way.

Drawing from three years of experience, my teaching methodology focuses on gradually familiarizing students with the ukulele's four strings through simple songs, while concurrently building finger strength with targeted exercises. Progressing to chords, students then refine their skills by playing along with music, gradually increasing from slower to normal speeds to enhance hand coordination.
Each lesson typically spans one hour, allowing for comprehensive instruction and practice.
As an experienced tutor, I specialize in teaching children aged 6 to 12. Alongside ukulele instruction, I offer the unique opportunity to learn Japanese or Mandarin through song and play, adding a dynamic cultural dimension to our lessons.
