About Ayşegül
I graduated in Turkish Language and Literature from Hacettepe, one of Turkey's top universities. I have over 15 years’ experience of teaching Turkish as a foreign language, as a private teacher and in classes at Ankara University's TÖMER language school. I'm skilled at teaching Turkish for personal, business and academic use, based on the curriculum of the Council of Europe’s European Language Portfolio.

Whether you want some basic phrases to get by on holiday, or to dive deeper into Turkish for work or family, I can help you. In my classes I encourage the four key skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I often teach using real-life materials like Turkish conversations, songs, or TV series. That way, you absorb the language while feeling immersed in Turkish culture as well. Most of my classes are one-to-one, but I can also do group classes on request.
