I’m a guitar tutor with 7 years of experience and an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance. I specialize in preparing students for Rockschool, Trinity, and university-level guitar programs. My lessons are structured to build strong technique, musical knowledge, and performance confidence. Whether you're aiming for an exam, an audition, or simply want to grow as a guitarist, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I tailor each session to match your goals, learning style, and pace. From sight-reading and scales to improvisation and solo development, I cover all key areas needed for success. I have a strong passion for helping students unlock their creative voice and stage presence. I believe that every guitarist has something unique to share, and my job is to bring that out through personalized coaching and consistent support. Together, we explore styles like blues, funk, and folk, and learn how to adapt your playing to different musical moods.
We use backing tracks, clapping games, and tempo tools to lock in timing and feel. I also include ear training and simple music theory to help you understand the "why" behind what you play. Each lesson is tailored to your pace and musical interests, so you always feel supported and challenged.
