About Olgar

I'm a Master's student in Health Data Science and Biostatistics at Wits, where I use advanced mathematics every day. For the past five years, I've helped students gain confidence, improve their marks, achieve distinctions and pass subjects they once thought were impossible. I believe every student is capable of success with the right support. Whether you're looking to pass, boost your grades or pursue a STEM career, I'm here to make Maths and Science feel simpler, more enjoyable and a lot less intimidating!

About the lesson

I enjoy tutoring high school (grades 8-12) Maths with English as the language of instruction.

I seek to teach the student based on their level and learning style. The best way to help someone improve is to identify where they are and how you can help them overcome the barriers keeping them there.

When it comes to Maths especially, practice is imperative. Star wars fans know that Yoda would say, "Fail you will if practice you don't." This is why practice questions and mock tests are a part of my lesson plans.
