About Zoe

I am studying engineering at UoW. I previously studied Maths Teaching at UoN before changing to engineering.
I have a bachelor of Dance, so I can also help out with HSC dance either theory, composition or practical.
I have tutored University level maths and resulted in a distinction on more than one occasion.

About the lesson

My teaching method depends on the student and how they take in information, whether that’d be pictures, auditory or visuals. I love looking for that light bulb moment, where students understand problems and theories they were previously struggling with. My style of teaching suits both individual and group settings.

Perfect! Zoe is able to adapt her approach to meet the very different learning needs of my highschooler and child in primary school. Both look forward to their sessions with Zoe and get a lot out of them.

After todays lesson we've found Lillian has a good grasp of perimeter and area, although needs practice to form confidence.
With Isabella we went through her test and found she had a good grasp on patterns but needs improvement with the number line and fractions.

She has grown up to be a lovely trustworthy young lady and is dedicated to all she takes on. She is a beautiful dancer and has taught dancing lessons so is no stranger to teaching. I think she would make an excellent maths tutor and I wish her well.
