My lessons focus on applied statistics, helping you understand how statistical methods are used in real-world situations such as business, economics, research, and data analysis.
The goal is not just to learn formulas, but to confidently interpret results and apply them to practical problems.
Areas covered include:
-Descriptive statistics (summarising and visualising data)
-Probability and statistical distributions
-Hypothesis testing and confidence intervals
-Bivariate analysis (correlation, simple regression, relationships between two variables)
-Multivariate analysis (multiple regression, analysing relationships across several variables)
-Data interpretation
-Statistical modelling and real-world problem solving
-Use of statistical tools such as Python, R, or Excel
Approach: Lessons are tailored to your level and goals, with a strong emphasis on step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and practical applications. I use real-world datasets where possible, so you can see how statistics is actually used beyond the classroom.
