About Courtney

Professionally, I’m best known for my role as Finch on The CW’s Legacies, the popular spin-off of The Vampire Diaries. I also recurred as the infamous Miko on The CW’s hit series All American. Most recently, I’ve appeared in a run of memorable guest roles on shows like The Lincoln Lawyer, Tracker, and 9-1-1.
I have over a decade of experience working in film and television, and I take the craft of acting seriously — both as a profession and as a lifelong practice. That’s the mindset I bring into coaching. I care about helping actors not just improve quickly, but build something sustainable, a real understanding of their process, their strengths, and how to keep evolving.
I aim to create a space that’s focused, supportive, and honest -- where you can do the work, take risks, and leave each session better than you came in.

About the lesson

My approach is simple: meet you exactly where you are, then move you forward with precision.
I’ve trained across a wide range of techniques. From Meisner, Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Michael Chekhov, Alexander, Linklater, Howard Fine, Warner Laughlin, Lesly Kahn, to improv Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade, to name a few. And I don’t treat any single method as the “right” one. Acting isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every actor is different, every role is different, and every moment requires a different tool.
I’ve spent my career building a multifaceted toolkit. I specialize in identifying exactly where you are in your process, where you want to go, and which technique will get you there… one millimeter at a time.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like --
It depends on your goal.
Audition Coaching:
Read through the material to get a baseline. You’ll do a take. From there, I’ll give you specific adjustments and exercises tailored to unlock what’s missing. Whether that’s connection, stakes, specificity, or behavior. We refine and build until you have a confident, compelling, “bookable” take.
Ongoing Coaching:
We zoom out and look at the bigger picture. Where you are in your career, where you want to go, and how to position you within the industry. We’ll explore your “type,” your brand, and the roles that fit you best.
From there, we work consistently on scenes (film, TV, theater), using them as a framework to:
Break through creative blocks
Strengthen your instincts and emotional availability
Build consistency and confidence
Sharpen your professional edge

A lot of actors get stuck because they’re trying to force one technique onto every situation. That’s not how real acting — or real sets — work.
I’ve trained with some of the top teachers in Los Angeles and work professionally, so I understand both the craft and the reality of the industry. My strength is adaptability: I pull from a wide range of techniques and tailor them specifically to you.
