About Pak Yung

I'm a doctor in London. Completed Foundation years 1 & 2 in Bristol, and graduated from University of Exeter Medical School, A-levels (3A*s2As). I have a passion for teaching and have experience teaching students across different ages and backgrounds. I have tutored individuals in medical school interview training, who successfully received offers from UK medical schools with my help. I have experience in teaching clinical and pre-clinical medical students. I worked as a simulation teaching fellow where I delivered teaching to doctors, students and nursing staff in a group setting. I am professional, enthusiastic and committed about helping students reach their goals. Particularly as I have insight into how challenging the whole medical school application is, I'm dedicated and motivated to guide students through these hurdles!

About the lesson

With my medical background and extensive teaching experience, I can help you develop your interview skills and confidence, ensuring that you will be the most prepared for the day. I am truly passionate about helping young, motivated individuals achieve their goal to become the next generation of doctors. Together, we will refine your interview techniques through practice, repetition and feedback, all while ensuring that it is an enjoyable and engaging learning experience. My lessons will be interactive and tailored to your individual needs. We will start with talking about your CV, interests and goals. We will focus on practising interview questions and conducting mock interviews in MMI-style/ panel/ etc. These will be on all essential topics such as chemistry, biology, NHS structure, medical ethics, current affairs and medical literature. We will work together to refine your answers.
