About John
I have a size screen, a math degree and APT CEI taught math and sciences in one of the best schools in Stockport for 10 years, and then I taught in some of the best IB schools in the world for 11 years. And I've since been a private tutor for about 4 years. I'm currently living in Scotland doing a combination of a new master's degree and working privately with local students in Scotland in live lessons and online lessons. Students from all over the world. I have had students win scholarships to university. I've had many private students winning awards, and I look forward to continuing to work with them.

I have many different types of lessons. The style that I usually deploy for the 40-minute online lesson is very conversational. This is the best way for me to be rigorously interactive and thoroughly responsive to my students. We will talk about the mathematical topic for the entire time, perhaps doing, you know, only one problem or up to 10 problems. The idea of the session is to make the students more likely to do work when not with me. My students have historically been incredibly successful because of the work that they do when I am not teaching them, and the reason they are successful in that work is because of the work that I do when I am teaching them.
