My stated rate is for an individual student based on an hourly basis. I prefer to give the first hour briefing free, that is if the student will be enrolled to take a minimum of ten lessons.
The material costs and tools needed for the lessons are not included in my hourly rate. All materials and tools that will be needed shall be purchased by the students. Also, the cost of bisque firing and glaze firings are additional costs for the student to pay. It is advantageous for interested students to have their own tools, as when they have learned the craft, they can use them in their own studios.
