About Madeline
I graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor's degree in History. I work as an independent study teacher and subject tutor and have previously taught elementary school students reading and math. I have a passion for teaching and helping students grow.

As an independent study teacher and subject tutor, I have worked with students from first grade to twelfth grade, primarily in English, history, reading, and writing. My undergraduate degree from Yale in history has given me the ability to teach students how to critically think about texts and craft well-written essays. I take an individualized approach with each student, keeping them engaged by tailoring the curriculum to their interests. I have a passion for passing on knowledge to young people, and I hope to help students develop their own skills and sense of intellectual curiosity.
