About Vishwa

Hi!

My name is Vishwa, I'm a tutor at Alpha Education currently completing my 3rd year of bachelor of philosophy (hons) in medical science with Assured Entry into the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.

I have over 3 years of experience tutoring ATAR subjects and have helped numerous students achieve a 99 ATAR as well as gain entry into medicine at competitive universities. Currently taking bookings for 2019 for both Year 11 and 12 students who are looking to get a head start over the summer break.

About the lesson

Alpha Education offers personalized tutoring and mentoring services with the ultimate goal of helping students get into their desired university course. Unfortunately even the best classroom teachers cannot calibrate their lessons to provide students the attention they deserve. We aim to cater to the needs of each individual and utilize our experiences with year 11/12 in order to help to maximise results among all of our students at an affordable cost. We have revision notes, practice tests and exams (as far back as 1994 TEE) grouped into relevant categories.

Our tutors have been through the rigour of the new ATAR syllabus that in to effect in 2016, graduating with a 99 ATAR, Certificates of Excellence and General exhibitions. From this knowledge of the revised syllabus along with an understanding of what we did right and what mistakes we made, we hope to act as mentors and guide our students to develop the right habits, offer insights, and fill gaps in their knowledge in order to help them maximise their academic potential and get into their desired career pathway. As opposed to generic lessons, this approach will translate to higher achievement in all aspects of their University entry including (for medicine) interviews, medical school applications and UMAT - not just ATAR.
