About Ali
I’m a first-year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Imperial College London. I achieved 8 9s and 2 8s at GCSE, and 1 A* (Maths) and 3 A’s at A-level (Further Maths, Physics, Spanish). As a contextual applicant, I benefitted from guaranteed minimum offers, which helped me access top-tier education, and I’m motivated to use my position to guide and support others aiming for elite universities. Beyond studying, I enjoy learning languages, playing football, going to the gym, and occasionally playing piano. I’m patient, flexible, and adapt my teaching to ensure every student fully understands topics at their own pace. I offer 1-hour online GCSE Maths and Physics lessons focused on quality over quantity. Lessons combine targeted revision of past paper questions on topics the student finds challenging, with frequent timed mini-tests to identify strengths and weaknesses. This approach hones in on weak areas and builds confidence for exams. I have experience tutoring younger students at school and have achieved top grades at GCSE and A-level. My lessons are aimed at students aged 13–16.
